Tuckaleechee Caverns

These caverns are estimated to be between 20 and 30 million years old. View millions of formations as you experience a 1.25 mile round trip adventure.

On one end of the tour, you will discover the “BigRoom” which is almost large enough to fit a football stadium. On the other side, you get to view “SilverFalls”. It falls 210 feet from top to bottom and is the tallest subterranean waterfall in the Eastern US .

According to legend, the Cherokee Indians knew of the Caverns and hid in them before the white man discovered the caverns about 1850.
